Welcome to the homepage of the College of Business, Humanities and Social Sciences. The college offers the liberal and humanistic programs found in American universities and colleges. Students may choose among fifteen baccalaureate degrees, fifteen minors, and one certificate program. Our graduates secure positions in some of the most rewarding and highest demand professions in the nation. Among the top earning careers available to our graduates are business, accounting, finance, and health care. Under the supervision of a faculty advisor, the Interdisciplinary Studies program permits the student to design a program of their choice and earn a baccalaureate degree. The Regents BA program is designed to meet the needs of working adults and accepts academic credits for prior college experience and work- or career-related experience.
In addition, academic majors offer a practicum or internship experience, allowing the student to acquire field experience in the career of their choice. Student organizations directed by faculty advisors, associated with an academic major, and affiliated with prestigious professional societies facilitate interaction among students, faculty, and industrial/professional leaders.
The faculty and staff are dedicated to providing students a quality education leading to rewarding careers in the private and public sectors and preparing students for admission into professional graduate programs. More information on majors and minors may be found in the links on this page to individual programs and departments.
