Chef Devin

In the WVU Potomac State College Hospitality (Culinary) program at WVU Tech, you'll learn alongside local industry expert Chef Devin Noor.

Chef Devin completed her culinary training at the world-renowned Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. She went on to earn a bachelor's degree in culinary arts at the University of Charleston, followed by a master's in higher education administration from West Virginia University.

Driven by a passion to share her craft, Chef Devin brings to her kitchens and classrooms a broad range of experience, including as an instructor, dining director and business owner.

She taught students at Mountain State University as a faculty member of the National Institute of Culinary Arts before becoming WVU Tech's Director of Dining, where she oversaw quality food service for students, faculty staff and guests. The spectrum of her dining program experience extends into the medical industry as well, where she served as dining director for Genesis Healthcare.

And in a region where small, grassroots hospitality is taking off, she boasts more than a decade of experience running a successful small business. As creator, owner and executive chef of Delightfully Yours Bakery and Café, Chef Devin delighted palates in Beckley with her unique blend of baked treats and handmade beverages before selling the business to move into teaching her craft.

Now, she is using her combined experience to train other passionate cooks and hospitality gurus to boost their own careers, establish their own businesses and take their culinary skills to whole new levels.

Chef Devin is a Certified Executive Pastry Chef and a Practical Exam Evaluator through the American Culinary Federation. She is a Certified Food Protection Professional and Certified Dietary Manager sponsored by the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals.
