Dr. Tahseen R. Hasan serves as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the West Virginia University Institute of Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Accounting from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2021 and his B.S. in Business Administration from Fordham University in 2016. Before taking on his current position, he served as a Visiting Scholar at the Stern School of Business, New York University. Dr. Hasan's research focuses on various areas, including financial accounting, behavioral accounting, corporate social responsibility, cryptocurrency, and blockchain.

His scholarly contributions have been published in journals such as the Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, The British Accounting Review, and the Journal of Financial Stability. As an educator, he has experience with a variety of accounting courses, including Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Financial Statement Analysis, and Entrepreneurial Accounting.
