ADMISSIONS
Students are not eligible for admission into the RBA program until at least four years after graduation from high school. You can check out general admission requirements here .
Students may not be enrolled simultaneously in the RBA program and another college degree program, and students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree are not eligible for the program.
All passing grades from other accredited colleges, plus passing grades on CLEP, DSST and other college-level tests, will be accepted.
COLLEGE EQUIVALENT CREDITS
Standard Awards
A standard award is the college credit WVU Tech awards for training certificates, registries, diplomas, or licenses – specialized courses or training you received outside of the college classroom. Students may also receive credit for CLEP and DSST tests. Each of these items can be awarded a specific, predetermined amount of credit. Contact the RBA Director for more information.
It should be noted that any subsequent college-level learning after acquiring these credentials may also carry college credit, but it will probably require portfolio evaluation.
Additional Credits
If they wish, students with substantial work experience may prepare a work-and-life experience portfolio to be evaluated by qualified faculty members for college-equivalent credits. Contact the RBA Director for more information.
Note: There is a $300 fee for experience portfolio evaluations, regardless of the amount of credits awarded. The same fee will be required each time students request subsequent evaluations.
